KOTTAYAM: LDF makes gains in the local body polls through the induction of Jose K Mani in its camp. Under his influence, LDF is heading towards a thrilling victory in Pala municipality. LDF has secured victory in five out of seven seats in Pala municipality. LDF has secured an unexpected win by defeating the mayor candidate of Joseph faction. UDF is currently leading in just one ward. LDF has also gained a clear edge in Kottayam and Pathanamthitta districts also compared to last year. Local body polls have provided ample opportunity to Jose faction to prove his mettle. LDF now thinks that induction of Jose was a good decision.
