THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: T N Prathapan MP responds on the party’s humiliating defeat in local body polls. The MP said that reasons for the party’s defeat should be scrutinised. A clear picture on the party’s performance at the village panchayat levels needs to be understood. “But we will study this defeat clearly. The party requires treatment from within. Surgery should be done in areas where they are necessary,” he said.

However, T N Prathapan fully supported the state leadership of the party. “Ramesh Chennithala has fought against the government to bring forth various scams and irregularities. Party president and KPCCshould find solutions to the issues plaguing the party,” he said.

This result should be carefully evaluated. 20-20's win in Kizhakambalam is because they intervened even in the day to day issues of the people.
