THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader, UDF convener and Minister V Muraleedharan MP jointly gave us this successful feat, said Minister A K Balan. Such a feat was impossible without their help and are congratulating them, he said while talking to the media soon after the poll results.

They helped us in two ways-- they said will eliminate KIIFB and then if assumed power will wipe out four missions including the Life Mission. The Jamaat-e-Islami, which is not in any other party till date will include them in the Front and if taken charge, a share will be given. The people of the state had recognised this.

Balan said their foolish decision helped the LDF. He said the LDF was approaching a two-thirds majority in the district and block panchayats, he said.
