Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan has opened up about the allegations regarding him handing over crucial information on the probe into the alleged gold smuggling to BJP state president K Surendran. Claiming that he has nothing to with any leak of information, Muraleedharan said that Surendran may have revealed the information that he obtained from his journalist friends. Muraleedharan made this clear during his interview with Kaumudi TV.
"K Surendran has good relations with the media in Kerala. He had released a lot of information not only about the gold smuggling but also about the solar case through his press conferences. Journalists may have handed over certain reports to leaders like Surendran instead of directly publishing them in the media," Muraleedharan said.
