KOZHIKODE: BJP state president K Surendran has defended the incident in which a few BJP workers unfurled a giant banner with 'Jai Sri Ram' written on it from the terrace of the Palakkad municipal corporation building after the party won in the local body polls there. Speaking about the incident, Surendran asked how did Lord Ram's name become a crime.
Meanwhile, Surendran said that no leader had sent a letter asking him to step down as state president and no one had complained against him. He added that those who have sent any letter against him should openly admit it.
