THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala on Saturday accused the CPM of helping BJP's growth by making the UDF irrelevant in Kerala. Chennithala alleged that the Chief Minister was trying to make the BJP the main opposition and that the strategy for this began since the Sabarimala issue.
Chennithala said the people want a corruption-free government and not an oppressive one. Kerala wants a government where the people can express their views. Chennithala said that preparations for the assembly elections have already started and all the workers will be mobilized for this.
He openly admitted that there were flaws in the local body elections. He also said that the party would check its flaws and would fight with increased vigour.
