THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A meeting chaired by the General Education Secretary has decided to reduce the number of lessons for SSLC and Plus Two exams. SCERT will decide about the lessons that need to be focused on in each subject.
Schools in the state have been directed to reduce the number of students and teachers arriving at schools from January 1. PTA meetings will be convened at the school level within a week to make the necessary arrangements.
With the coordination of various agencies under the Education Department, students will be provided with study support and necessary counselling.
