KOZHIKODE: Union minister V Muraleedharan said that the poll results don’t show that people of Kerala have given a clean chit to this government. He added that it is also a wrong observation that people have denied the investigations by central probe agencies. “If the clean chit is subserved on the basis of election results, then the incumbent LDF government might have to tender resignation following the humiliating defeat in last Lok Sabha polls. There are no relations between elections and ongoing probes led by central investigation agencies,” he said.

He also said that the results in local body polls are conducive for BJP. “CPM was able to withstand the elections because the Muslim League and Congress supported them. UDF is currently being led by League and Congress party is facing a dead-end in the state,” the union minister added.
