KOLLAM: Woman arrested over stealing van with a friend from Paripally. Shinsy (19) from Ambalpuzha was arrested from Panangad in Ernakulam. Co-accused Vineeth Panangad was earlier arrested by police. Police officials have been shocked to hear Shinsy’s revelations.

Shinsy and her friend stole the Maruti Omni van on December 16th. The duo who is accused of various theft cases and also in extortion cases stole the van from Paripally after reaching the area in a motorcycle from Tamil Nadu. On her way back to Ernakulam with the van, she has also tried to extort money from Pedestrians at Thiruvalla. The accused were arrested by a team of police officials consisting of SHO O Rupesh Raj, and SIs—Naufal and Anees.
