THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Soon after a 45-year-old man was arrested for cruelly beating his wife and children in Attingal, his wife has come to the fore saying that her husband has done nothing wrong. She said the video was taken just to scare her husband in the name of some minor issue. She said that her husband has not beaten her or her children. He works hard to look after the family, she said.

She said that this video was taken just to scare her husband in the name of a small issue. I had posted the video in my family group. That video had gone viral now and it has ashamed us. My husband is not a person like that. He has not beaten us till now. My daughter cried loudly when she saw me shooting the video. Everyone sees him as a wicked man now. I am sick. He works hard to meet my medical expenses.

The video was circulated in the social media two days back. After the video had gone viral, Sunil Kumar of Attingal was arrested. A case has been registered against him as per Juvenile Justice Act.

He beat the children after some of his things had gone missing. He is seen beating them cruelly even after they say that they had not taken it.
