KOCHI: A model is among those arrested in connection with the rave party in Idukki. The model hailing from Thrippunithura has acted in some films also. Though her parents are from Bengaluru, she was born and brought up in Kochi.

The party was organised in Vagamon to celebrate the birthdays of three people. They themselves bore the expenses of it. It is hinted that the same team had held such parties in Munnar and Kochi also.

Almost 60 people including women attended the party held at Cliff Inn Resort owned by the CPI leader at Vattappathal in Vagamon. Police released 49 people who attended the party along with their parents. A team led by Idukki additional SP S Suresh Kumar conducted a raid Sunday night and seized a large cache of drugs including LSD stamp, hashish, intoxicating pills, drugs and cannabis.

Police found that Ajmal Zaheer, a native of Mangattukavala in Thodupuzha supplied the drugs required for the party. 27 LSD stamps were seized. It is being investigated as to who gave such a large quantity of drugs. Police will take the remanded accused into custody today.
