THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Poetess Sugathakumari will be cremated with full state honours at Shanthikavadom this evening at 4 pm. The funeral rites will adhere to strict virus guidelines.

The public was allowed to pay floral tributes to Sugathakumari’s picture kept at Ayyankali Hall from 1 pm onwards. Her relatives will be there.

The body is still kept in the medical college hospital and will be taken to Shanthikavadom at 3.30 pm. She died at 10.45 am today while undergoing treatment for the virus.
