KOZHIKODE: One more has been detected of Shigella disease in Kozhikode. The disease was detected on one-and a half-year-old-baby at Kashayapadi in Kallampara, Feroke. The baby has been shifted to a private hospital in Kozhikode. The disease was earlier detected at Kottamparambil near the medical college. However, the health department has informed that the case in Kallampara is not related to this.

The baby was admitted to a hospital in Feroke three days back following severe stomach pain. The disease was detected on the baby in the tests conducted after shifting him to the private hospital in Kozhikode.
