THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State ministers will meet Governor Arif Mohammad Khan to seek permission to convene a special assembly session. Law Minister AK Balan and Agriculture Minister VS Sunilkumar will meet the Governor at 12.30 pm. Ministers will ask the Governor directly to allow the assembly to convene.

The state government's latest move is part of a compromise. CPI's mouthpiece Janayugam had pointed out that a resolution would be brought against the Governor if the assembly was not allowed to reconvene on the 31st.
