KOCHI: Recent report claims that a top police official from Kochi and a prominent Malayalam film actor had intervened to avoid the remand of model and actress Bristi, who is in police custody in connection with a drunken party in Vagamon. The actress was initially released on bail after 'celebrities' intervened. However, as the investigation intensified, police took her into custody and remanded her.

The actor was at another resort in Vagamon at the time of the raid. Familiar to the audience through his villainous roles, he reportedly had a close friendship with Bristow and tried to help Bristy using his police influence.
