PALAKKAD: Father in the law of Aneesh, Prabhu Kumar, who is charged with killing his son in law, in the Palakkad honour killing case, has been arrested by the police. Prabhu Kumar who went on cover and was staying in Coimbatore at his relatives home was arrested by the police from there.

On Saturday night, his wife’s uncle was taken into custody. Arrest of both accused will be registered on Saturday. Aneesh a native of Ellamandam was killed by his father in law and wife’s uncle on Friday.

Witnesses in their testimony have said that Aneesh was attacked by his father in law and wife’s uncle. Aneesh who went to the nearby shop in his bike was attacked and killed by the accused and he died on the way to the hospital. His postmortem will be held on Saturday. Aneesh’s marriage was held about three months ago.
