THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 3527 COVID-19 cases on Saturday, Health Minister KK Shailaja said. Among these, 3106 persons developed the disease through contact including 324 cases without an identified source of infection. 63 persons who came from outside the state also tested positive for the virus. 34 health workers tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 3782 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 63,752 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 21 deaths due to the virus on Saturday with the toll rising to 2951.
