BENGALURU: The enforcement filed a charge sheet against Bineesh Kodiyeri in money laundering case. The charge sheet was filed at a time when he completes 60 days after being arrested. The ED filed a preliminary charge sheet in the Bengaluru sessions court.

Bineesh, who was arrested on October 29, will be granted natural bail if a charge sheet is not filed within 60 days. Enforcement action is also to prevent this. Bineesh is in remand at Parappana Agrahara Jail. Bineesh is planning to move the high court after sessions court rejected his bail plea in the case.

The ED registered the case against Bineesh on the basis of the statement of Mohammad Anoop, a native of Ernakulam arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drug case. The ED found that Anoop was the benami of Bineesh. The charge sheet has also included the information obtained after interrogating Abdul Latheef and Rasheed, restaurant partner of Anoop, suspected to be Bineesh's benamis.
