THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a shocking incident, the video of a son brutally beating his mother in an intoxicated condition is out. The youth identified as Rasaq, a native of Edava is seen brutally beating and stamping his mother in the video. The video has gone viral in the social media. He is also seen hurling abuses at her. The incident happened on December 10.

The video was shot by Rasaq’s sister. She later sent the video to their relatives in the Gulf. Rasaq is staying in another house with a woman. He is now absconding. The police has started an investigation on the incident.

The police has intensified a search for Rasaq. Meantime, the mother told police that she has no complaint against her son.
