IDUKKI: The crime branch will investigate the rave party case in Vagamon. Idukki crime branch SP P K Madhu will be probing the case. The crime branch will investigate the links of actress Bristy Biswas, arrested in the incident. Seven types of drugs were found to have been used in the party and they were delivered by Ajmal Zakeer from Thodupuzha. The case will be investigated outside the state for his involvement with a drug gang outside the state.

The crime branch will also investigate the links of Mehreen and Nabil, the second and third accused, in the case. The main accused in the case are Ajmal Zakir, a native of Thodupuzha, and Salman, a native of Kozhikode. The police who initially investigated the case had confirmed that the actress had a long relationship with Ajmal and Salman.

During lockdown time drugs were smuggled in her luxurious car several times. Police suspect that the drugs were smuggled from Bangalore and Goa. The actress was excluded from the investigation and the drug mafia took advantage of it.

A rave party was held during Onam, Diwali and Dussehra along the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border. According to police, the actress had attended parties in Kochi, Kannur, Kozhikode, Munnar, Mahe, Palakkad and Wayanad.
