THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A decision has been taken to conduct the 25th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) postponed due to COVID-19 from February 10 onwards. The fest will be hosted in four districts in the state. Venues are in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Palakkad and Kannur. Films will be screened in five theatres on five days in each city. The fee for delegates has been reduced to Rs 750 this year from Rs 2,000. Delegates attending the film festival should consider COVID negative certificate with them.
The fest will be held from February 10 to 14 in Thiruvananthapuram, from 17 to 21 in Ernakulam, from 23 to 27 in Thalassery and from March 1 to 5 in Thalassery. Registration should be done in the respective areas.
The capital city hosted the film festival in the beginning of December in previous years.
