THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday welcomed PK Kunhalikutty's decision to return to state politics. Speaking during the press conference, the CM said that it will be good to have someone like Kunhalikutty in the Opposition in the Assembly.

"Kunhalikutty was earlier a member of the Legislative Assembly. Later, he felt that he should go to Parliament and went there. It is learnt that he is now planning to come back to the Legislative Assembly. In my opinion, it will be good to have a leader like Kunhalikutty in the Opposition in the Assembly," he said. The CM was responding to reports which claimed that Kunhalikkutty is planning to resign from his post of MP in order to focus on state politics.
