THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has come up with a project to curb corruption in the public sector in the state. The Chief Minister said in a press conference that the Corruption Free Kerala project will be implemented to address the concerns of those who provide information on corruption. The CM said the project would be launched on Republic Day.

Corruption in the public sphere is a stumbling block in society. Many methods have been tried to prevent corruption.

The names of the informants will be kept confidential. Complaints can be made through the software at a government-notified authority. The informants do not have to go to any government office. The Authority will study the nature of the complaint and forward it to the respective departments. Complaints will be lodged with the systems including vigilance if required. The complaint will be forwarded to the system after it is seen by two officials. Invalid complaints can be filtered through this. This is a milestone event in Kerala, CM Vijayan said.
