KOTTAYAM: NCP leader Mani C Kappan has said that he won’t leave Pala assembly seat to Jose K Mani. NCP will stay in the LDF camp. He also said that he has not conducted talks with anyone in UDF to join with them. Mani C Kappan has made his stand clear after rumours on NCP leaving LDF emerged following news on fielding Jose K Mani as LDF’s candidate from Pala in the upcoming assembly polls.

State chief of the party Peethambaran master also said that there is no conflict in LDF over the Pala seat and NCP has never thought about leaving the front. Mani C Kappan will never leave the front. He added that he had never thought about leaving the front and NCP will never do anything that could reduce LDF’s sheen in Kerala.

Meanwhile, NCP’s district committees’ meet will begin from Saturday. The immediate summoning of district committees is done for evaluating the scenario post local body polls. First such meeting will be held in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday. The meet is intended to know the opinion of lower units of the party on various issues including defecting to UDF. The last of these meetings will be held in Ernakulam on January 23.
