THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Radio Asia, the first Malayalam radio station in the Gulf, has selected Minister K.K. Shailaja as this year's news person. The recognition is given to activities in the community without giving up social commitment and vigilance during the Covid pandemic following the Nipah outbreak. Radio Asia, which has been operating in the UAE for more than 28 years, now broadcasts on 94.7 FM after a long AM broadcast. Radio Asia is a popular radio movement that constantly intervenes in the problems of Malayalees in the UAE and at home and provides them with the assistance they need.
