KOCHI: High court has cancelled the bail given to Thaha in connection with Pantheerankavu UAPA case. The high court has ordered for the immediate surrender of Thaha. Meanwhile, the court has not cancelled the bail of Alan Shuhaib as the court considered his age.

The present move of the court comes in the appeal filed by NIA. Court also approved the NIA’s contention that the evidence seized from Thaha is enough to charge UAPA case on him. Thaha will be taken into custody and will be transferred to Jail immediately.

Pantheerankavu police have arrested the duo on 2018 November 1 alleging maoist links. However, the court granted them bail with severe conditions in September 2020.
