THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: LDF convener A Vijayaraghavan on Monday said that the UDF is raising allegations against the Chief Minister in order to hide their massive defeat in the local body elections. While claiming that confusion is prevailing within the Congress after the elections, Vijayaraghavan said that the party should clarify their stance before the public.
"UDF is trying to divert the CM's intervention into a communal one. They are trying to spread blatant lies against the CM and the government to tarnish the reputation of the government. However, the people of Kerala have rejected this," Vijayaraghavan said.
He also said that the relationship between the Muslim League and Welfare party is still going on. Both the KPCC president and the opposition leader are giving contradictory statements. This will only help to justify BJP's extremist politics, he added.
