THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kerala twice ahead of the assembly election as part of BJP's campaign. Though the BJP central leadership is giving more importance to West Bengal among the five states where elections will be held this year, it will also give due consideration to Kerala. BJP state president K Surendran, who arrived in Delhi the other day, met national president JP Nadda and organizing secretary BL Santhosh to discuss about election preparations.

Meanwhile, the two-week 'Kerala Yatra' led by K Surendran will start in the second week of February. Instead of going from one direction to another, the events will be held in different places for 15 days. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP President J.P. Nadda and Union ministers will take part in the event at various places.
