THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Farmers from Kerala will join the farmers protest in Delhi demanding the repeal of the controversial farm laws, which has been ongoing in the national capital since November 26. The farmers from Kerala led by Karshakasangham will march towards Delhi from Kerala. The first batch of protestors will set out from Kannur on January 11. Karshakasangham informed that there will be 500 people in the first batch.
The office-bearers of Karshakasangham informed that a total of 1,000 people will take part in the protests. Kerala has responded against the farm law by convening a special assembly session on December 31st. Even though the centre has conducted talks with the protesting farmers all of them failed as the centre was not conceding to the farmer’s demand to repeal the farm laws. The eighth round of talks was held on Tuesday.
