KOZHIKODE: Thaha Fazal, the second accused in the Pantheeramkavu Maoist case, told the media that he was the victim of the investigating officials who are abusing the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and that the public should react against such laws. He made the statements after reaching the NIA court in Ernakulam to surrender following the cancellation of bail.
