KOCHI: The Judicial Commission report in the Nedunkandam custodial death case will be submitted on Thursday. The report of the Justice Narayana Kurup Commission will be submitted to the Chief Minister at 11 am. Rajkumar, MD of a finance firm, was brutally beaten to death in Nedumkandam police custody in connection with the Haritha Finance scam, which is the basis of this case. It took place on June 21, 2019. Seven policemen, including Nedunkandam SI Sabu, are accused in the case.

Rajkumar's post-mortem report initially stated that the cause of death was pneumonia. Following widespread complaints in the case, a re-postmortem of the body was done and it was found that Rajkumar had died as a result of torture. The first postmortem was also found to have been done carelessly. The report that is being submitted by the Justice Narayana Kurup Commission appointed by the government on July 4, 2019 to investigate the matter has 200 pages. The report also contains details about 60 witnesses.
