THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: P C George, who boycotted the governor's policy address along with the opposition, was the focus of attention outside the assembly today. George walked out of the assembly and approached the opposition protesters who were protesting in front of the assembly hall. P J Joseph invited him to join the opposition, but he refused. He was seen watching the opposition’s protest by leaning on a lamp placed there.

Many including opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala and P J Joseph were seen talking to him. There were news that George will join the UDF before the assembly elections but it did not happen. George joined the opposition in the protests against the government.

George said that he did not walk out of the assembly along with the opposition but after ten minutes.
