flyover-

KOCHI: Commuters have finally received salvation from the busy and annoying traffic points in Vyttila and Kunadannor, the busiest in Kochi through which thousands of vehicles pass every day. Those who travel through Vyttila And Kundanoor are happy to see the flyover realised finally, for which they have been waiting for years. The Vyttila flyover project is being realised after its slow pace induced by the flood, the covid 19 pandemic and the row over the bridge being opened by V 4 Kochi before its official inauguration.

The state government decided to build the bridge with its own funds to escape from the debilitating toll collection process if the project is left to the centre. The Public works department has earlier decided to complete the project within 18 months. Even in the midst of problems and issues, with proper planning, the public works department completed the project on time. Therefore all credit goes to them. The chief minister didn’t forget to tell that during the inauguration ceremony and praised the department for its commendable work.
