KASARGOD: Enforcement directorate sends notice to director board members of the fashion gold jewellery asking them to appear for questioning. The director board members who are associated with five companies related to the jewellery scam has been sent notices by ED.

ED has started an investigation over the scam which was based on these five companies. The questioning will start from next week. The investigation will be expanded to further persons only after questioning the board members of the jewellery.

Meanwhile, the date for grilling the jailed MLA, M C Kamaruddin has not yet been decided. The probe team’s preliminary conclusion is that, about Rs 150 crore has been collected from 8,000 investors from Kannur and Kasargod districts as part of the scam.
