THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A newlywed was found dead at her husband's house in Varkala Muthanam. Sarath's wife Athira, 24, was found dead in the bathroom.

The wounds on the body's arms and neck add to the mystery of the incident. Athira was found dead on Friday afternoon.

After going to take a bath, she was gone for too long and was found in the bathroom during a search.

Athira was rushed to a hospital but could not be saved. Sarath and Athira got married a month and a half ago. Kallambalam police have registered a case and started an investigation.
