An incident of online harassment involving television/cinema actor Muralee Mohan has surfaced in which the actor texted writer Ashwathy on social media. Sharing the screenshots of the conversation between them, the writer said that the messages did not come through the actor's fake ID and it was clear through the voice messages.
From the screenshots of the messages sent by the actor through his social media account, it is clear that he was constantly harassing the woman by asking for her phone number and so on. Ashwathy is sometimes seen reacting harshly to the actor's messages and other times ignoring them.
At one point in the chat, Muralee Mohan says that 'ten thousand' women were attracted to him but he has ignored them. Elsewhere, the actor tells the young woman that he is a 'celebrity'. But the actor claims that he did not harass the girl or treat her badly.
The actor admits that he sent the message himself and says that the chats were made public by the woman as a show-off. Muralee Mohan said that many people called him after the news came out but said there was nothing wrong with him.
'I asked her for the number to check whether she was a fake. There are a lot of messages in the messenger. It is difficult to find fake and real people in there. So I only respond to messages on WhatsApp, ” the actor said.
