KOCHI: Customs will question state protocol officer Shine A Haq in connection with the dollar transfer case. Customs has served a notice to him, summoning him on Tuesday. The move of the customs is based on the secret testimony given by Swapna Suresh, the chief accused in the gold smuggling case.

Customs have understood from Swapna’s testimony that Shine A Haq have a role in issuing cards which grant diplomatic immunity to those who don’t deserve it as per rules. Customs officials have also found out that Shine has issued the cards to three including the Egyptian citizen Khalid who received commission under the life mission. The questioning is based on this evidence.
