THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Employees of KSRTC have started protest against its MD Biju Prabhakar. INTUC members of KSRTC protested against Biju Prabhakar in front of Transport Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram. INTUC also called for statewide agitations on Monday. Different unions are responding against Biju Prabhakar who spoke against the employees in the corporation.

The unions have turned against Biju Prabhakar for revealing the corruption and scams going on in the corporation. “Those who are opposing changes want the institution to remain in a state of disarray forever. Shopping complexes were built without any background study. There are more than needed staff in KSRTC. Some are farming Ginger and Turmeric without reporting for duty. Instead for them, the empanelled temporary workers are working for them. CNG is being opposed in order to pocket the money meant for diesel for extra travelling,” Biju Prabhakar said earlier.

The cold war between employees and Biju Prabhakar began as he was adamant in declaring the swift programme in KSRTC. He has also said that action will be taken against those who have siphoned off the corporation’s Rs 100 crore illegally.
