MALAPPURAM: A minor girl in Pandikkad was sexually abused a third time. She was sexually abused in 2016. The 13-year-old girl was sent along with her relatives then.

When she was sexually abused a second time, she was housed in children’s home. She was sent home following her parents request just before the transmission of COVID. A complaint has been raised that she was sexually abused again.

The Pandikkad police has registered a case. It has been alleged that the child was released and sent along with her relatives without proper investigation on her safety and this led to the abuse.
