KOCHI: The Kerala High Court said further steps can be taken against hotelier Biju Ramesh for producing a fake compact disc in the court in bar bribery case. The high court directed Thiruvananthapuram judicial first class magistrate to accept the complaint on it. The plaintiff is Sreejith Sreedharan, a native of Thiruvananthapuram. The edited disc was handed over to the magistrate when secret statement was given.

Biju Ramesh said that he had asserted earlier that edited versions were given as there were unsavoury words in some parts. The recording equipment sent was not examined. I had stated that it was edited version. It is not a great finding. I want the recording equipment to be examined. If examined that evidence against many including Ramesh Chennithala would be obtained, he said.
