THODUPUZHA: A Revenue Department official who was on Sabarimala duty died of a heart attack in Pamba. The deceased has been identified as Thodupuzha native Abhilash (47), a revenue inspector of the Thodupuzha Land Acquisition office. He came to work in Pamba on January 11. Abhilash, who went to take rest in his room after dinner on the 17th, was found dead on the morning of the 18th. Pamba police have completed the inquest proceedings. The body was sent to Kottayam Medical College for postmortem. The initial conclusion was that the death was due to a heart attack. Abhilash is survived by wife Sini, daughter Abhirami and son Adithya.
