THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Nod given for opposition’s adjournment motion in connection with the CAG report on KIIFB. A discussion will be held on the motion at 12.30 pm on Wednesday. Congress leader V D Sateeshan has served notice for adjournment motion to discuss those parts in the CAG report which said that KIIFB is an unconstitutional body.

The finance minister has earlier made it clear that he is ready for open discussion on the issue. In the press conference held on Tuesday, the finance minister has said that people should know the truth. The report of the ethics panel on the allegation that the finance minister has breached assembly’s privileges by publicising the CAG report will be also tabled in the assembly on Wednesday. The report will be submitted along with the dissenting note of the opposition.
