THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Mohanlal has been named as the goodwill ambassador of the State Health Department's tuberculosis eradication program. It was Health Minister KK Shailaja who announced this through her Facebook page.

The minister said that Mohanlal will be there to strengthen the TB control activities in the state. The minister added that the campaign has been initiated to identify TB affected in order to reduce delay due to COVID-19.
