THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CBI officers investigating the death of violinist Balabhaskar and his daughter Tejaswini said that a month's time is required to find out the truth behind the fatal car accident.
The result of the polygraph has been obtained. The officials are scrutinizing the links of Balabhaskar's managers with the gold smuggling gang. It will take at least a month to reach a final decision, an official from the investigation team said.
Balu's friends and managers Vishnu Somasundaram, Prakashan Thampi, driver Arjun and Kalabhavan Soby, who arrived at the scene of the accident, were subjected to polygraph tests. Only some clues were obtained from the polygraph tests. No conclusions have been reached as to who drove the car. It is learnt that the statements of Kalabhavan Soby and the driver Arjun were found false in the polygraph tests. While Soby claimed that Balabhaskar's car was attacked by members of gold smuggling gang, Arjun had stated that Balabhaskar was behind the wheels at the time of the accident.
