WAYANAD: District collector Adeela Abdullah has sought a report from tahsildar on the incident of a woman killed in an elephant attack. The collector said would probe whether there has been a breach of resort’s security arrangements. The disaster management authority will inspect the functioning of the resort tying tents.

Unauthorized tents will be banned and strict action will be taken against the owners if tourists are accommodated without permission. The elephant trampled the woman, who reached a private resort in Wayanad to death last night. Allegations were raised related to the security measures of the resort.
