HOSUR: Special investigation team which probes the armed burglary in Muthoot branch at Hosur has found out that a 22-year-old college student is the mastermind behind the burglary. The armed gang’s operation started months ago and they hatched a well-made plan after understanding the working hours of the branch, the roadways which lead to the branch and they even prepared a root map and everything went on as they planned. When the operation completed within 15 minutes the gang attained more than 25 kg of gold. Their planning matched the plot of suspense thrillers in Hollywood.

Roop Singh Bhagel from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh is the chief of the gang. Earlier he had his own theft gang. It was he who selected the areas to be robbed. Roop Singh who reached had earlier reached Banglore, stayed there for three months to select an appropriate place to conduct his next operation. Thus he selected the Muthoot’s branch in Hosur. Police have not revealed why Roop Singh has selected this place for the theft operation. Reports suggest that he was held by the police.
