THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader and former chief minister Oommen Chandy has reacted to the government's decision to hand over the solar sexual abuse case to the CBI. Lashing out at the government, Chandy said that the new move would backfire against it. He also asked why the government had not appealed against the High Court verdict in the case.
While claiming that he was ready for any inquiry, Chandy asked whether anything was proven against him in the investigation that has been going on for the last five years. "This is Kerala. The new move could work against the government and Pinarayi Vijayan will have to answer to the people of Kerala, Chandy said.
