THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The private buses in Kerala are going to stop their services again. If more time is not granted to pay the taxes, private buses have decided to stop their services. The bus owners also hold the opinion that rising fuel prices have further deepened the depth of the issue. The bus owners have conveyed the matter to transport minister A K Saseendran.

In the last three months, diesel prices increased by Rs 14. Meanwhile, January 30th is the last day to pay the taxes. Bus owners state that this has pushed them to a severe financial crisis. Whereas the transport minister has told the bus owners association he cannot make a decision alone, as it is the issue of taxes.

The transport minister has informed CM that the constant increase in fuel prices have become unbearable for the private bus industry. But the transport minister has said that the government is not thinking about increasing the bus fare. The government also knows that as polls are around the corner hike in bus fare is suicidal.
