THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior Congress leader and former chief minister Oommen Chandy said that the CBI probe in the solar case will prove counterproductive to the government. He also said that he won’t defend against the move to leave the case’s investigation to CBI and he won’t register any case on the issue.

Oommen Chandy also said that he doesn’t fear CBI and any agency can conduct the probe. He also criticised the government’s inability to take up the investigation of the case in the last four years.

“As I have not done any wrong, I can strongly confront the law. The case was investigated by three DGPs and they couldn’t find anything,” Chandy told the media. He also said that let the people decided who were included and excluded from the case.
