KANNUR: The condition of CPM Kannur district secretary M V Jayarajan who contracted COVID-19 is very serious. He is put on ventilator following high blood pressure and pneumonia. A special expert team from Thiruvananthapuram will leave soon to examine him admitted at the Pariyaram Medical College. Also a new special expert team from Kozhikode Medical College will reach Pariyaram shortly.

Jayarajan was confirmed of the virus a week back. Health Minister K K Shailaja held talks with the doctors treating him now.
